Playgrounds
Students are encouraged to play together in a way that will build positive relationships with their peers. Student leaders are given the skills to guide play with the younger students, fostering friendships and cooperation skills.
Forest Street Primary School boasts large and open play spaces, including ovals, basketball courts, soccer pitches, sandpits, playgrounds, ninja course and a Gaga Pit.
There are also quiet places for students who just want to have a calm time at playtime.
A fun and fast-paced game, perfect for all skill levels, the Gaga Pit is a great way to stay active, build teamwork, and enjoy friendly competition. Whether you're playing with friends or challenging your classmates, the Gaga Pit offers non-stop excitement and is a fantastic addition to our school’s outdoor activities.
"Play is essential to development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and youth."
